JPT Mechanical Drives was created in the acquisition of HMK Automation Group of the trading assets of Jackson Power Transmission out of administration in September 2012. The original company started in 1987 by Peter Jackson supplied individually designed mechanical drive solutions to UK quarries and mining industries. The company developed so supply original manufacturers equipment and replacement gearboxes, motors, clutches, brakes, conveyors, fabrications, electronic & mechanical variable speed units to these and a broad range of industries.
