HMK expands its Mechanical offering with BAHR Modultechnik partnership

Responding to the anticipated growth within the engineered drives market in the coming years, HMK Automation & Drives has expanded its mechanical  capabilities. 

A new partnership has been forged with BAHR Modultechnik based in Lower Saxony, Germany.  BAHR is a leading manufacturer of modular positioning systems with more than 20 years presence in the global market.  HMK is the largest independent supplier of drive automation products in the market, servicing the OEM and System Integrator sectors. 

The new partnership will see HMK as the sole UK Distributor for the extensive range of BAHR innovative products.  BAHR is a manufacturer of quality, cost efficient products, positioning systems made of very resistant aluminum profiles.  The BAHR model is based on short delivery times, and with a fully automated factory, the extensive range is available for delivery within 3 weeks.  All the products are tested on site prior to delivery and any combination of positioning systems is available.  BAHR also offers a comprehensive range of accessories and spare parts for all its products series.

This new partnership was launched by Mr Frank Bahr, Managing Director of BAHR Modultechnik GmbH and Gary Kitchin, Managing Director of HMK Automation & Drives, during a recent visit to the HMK Cheshire headquarters.
