SIMOVERT MASTERDRIVES are AC drive converters. They transform AC motors into high-accuracy variable-speed drives. This series of drives is designed for worldwide use. Technological functions
The Masterdrive MC provides the following technological functions:

Axis types :

Positioning :
Position controller with feedforward control
Setup:
1) Position controlled traversing of the axis in Jog mode
2) Reference point approach
3) Referencing of the axis using various methods
4) Positioning/MDI (Manual Data Input)
5) Simultaneous transfer and starting of a positioning task
6) Selection of configured positioning tasks
7) Automatic Execution of complete positioning programs cyclically or in single-step mode
8) Program-controlled output of switching functions (M functions)
9) Block change on-the-fly via high-speed input
10) Start/read enable via high-speed input

Synchronization :
1) Angle synchronization/electronic gearbox
2) Long-term stable angle synchronization with a transmission ratio of 1:5 to 32,000:1
3) Input of transmission ratio as nominator and denominator in the range from 1 ... 32,000
4) Electronic cam disk/table interpolation
5) Implementation of complex axis couplings, e.g. flying saw, flying knife
6) Table change on-the-fly
7) Linear interpolation between profile points
8) Coupling/decoupling
9) Accurate incremental engaging or decoupling of a slave axis for one machine cycle
10) Actuation via high-speed input
