The PSE 37_-8 positioning system, an intelligent, compact, complete solution for positioning auxiliary and positioning axes, consists of an EC motor, gear, power amplifier, control electronics, absolute measuring system and CAN-Open/DS301, Profibus DP or DeviceNet data interfaces. The integrated absolute measuring system eliminates the need for a time-consuming reference run.
Connecting to a bus system simplifies the wiring. A hollow shaft with adjustable collar makes assembly quite simple. This positioning system is particularly suitable for automatically adjusting the positions of filling and packing machines in the pharmaceutical and food industries. Its stainless steel housing makes the PSE 37_-8 series ideal for use in clean rooms or for sterile filling processes. Its high protection class (IP 68) and stainless steel housing also allow for cleaning with aggressive cleansers.
