In addition to SIMATIC and SINUMERIK, Siemens now offers SIMOTION, the Motion Control system for applications with complex movements, that integrates Motion Control and convenient control functionality in one unit. SIMOTION combines the complex operation of motion functions into a Motion Control system (scalable) for various hardware platforms with a common engineering system and allows considerably more flexibility for machine planning and construction.
