SIMOTION C - Controller based

SIMOTION C is a Motion Controller in S7-300 modular design . It already has four interfaces for analog or stepper drives and several digital inputs and outputs onboard. The C230-2 or the C240 can also be expanded with I/O modules from the SIMATIC S7-300 range. Two PROFIBUS interfaces with PROFIdrive and an Industrial Ethernet interface provide numerous options for the communications .
Compared to the C230-2 the C240 has a higher performance, increased memory sizes and an enhanced functionality of the onboard peripherals.
