Siemens Sinamics S110 single-axis drive

Simple and cost-effective positioning

Siemens Drive Technologies has expanded its drive line with the new Sinamics S110, a single-axis drive in the 0.12 to 90 kW performance range. This AC servo converter has been specifically designed for simple and precise positioning applications with synchronous or induction motors. With itsfield bus interfaces and safety functions SINAMICS S110 is one of the most universal and safest positioning drives.

Using the functionality of the latest CU305 control unit, this drive can be used with either Profibus DP or CAN open interfaces. A BOP (Basic Operator Panel) can be added to it for easy operation and diagnosis. The PM340 type Power Modules are the same size as the existing Sinamics S120 AC/AC series, making them compatible for configuration and connection.

The key feature of this product is the integrated basic positioner (EPos), which can do both classic and complex positioning moves with equal efficiency.

Typical applications include pick & place tasks, high-bay racking units, simple handling tasks, positioning rotary tables, positioning adjuster and actuator axes in all machinery construction sectors.
