The HMK Team is expanding and we’ve recently recruited new Digital Sales Executive Hannah Seabridge, who works with both our existing and prospective customers to help generate sales and support our customers across digital platforms.

Gary Kitchin, Managing Director at HMK Automation, said: “The pandemic has accelerated the rate of change in our working practices and advancements in digital technologies have supported this. Whilst face-to-face visits with customers still have their place, this traditional way of working is looking distinctly analogue in today’s digital world.

“We’re seeing an increased demand for efficiency and here at HMK, we are also committed to reducing our environmental impact, so these are both key drivers in creating this new position, and Hannah brings lots of experience to the role, so we know our customers, new and existing, will be in safe hands.”

Job Title: Digital Sales Executive

When did you join HMK? August 2021

What does your role involve? I work with both potential and existing accounts, facilitating customers on their sales journey. This includes ensuring they have everything they require to make the right purchasing decision and choose HMK.

I also engage with prospective customers where there is synergy between what we offer, and what they need, focusing on developing the overall business for both companies and extending the relationship by adding real value.

Previous experience and areas of expertise: My expertise is in digital sales and I have over seven years’ experience working in similar roles. I also have experience in account management - leading and managing a successful sales department.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role? My role is newly created within HMK, driven by the changing expectations of customers, so I’m looking forward to taking on the new challenges and working towards personal and company goals.

Why did you want to join HMK? I wanted to work for HMK after I saw the passion from everyone that is already part of the team. Many have been here for over 10 years, which says so much about the company.

How are you finding it? So far, it’s been great. Everyone is knowledgeable and passionate about sharing that knowledge.

What’s the best thing about working at HMK? I’ve found that HMK’s offer is unique in the market and it’s great discussing this with new and returning customers and exploring how we can deliver value into their offer.

Proudest achievement: Over the last three years, I have raised more than £8,500 for different cancer charities by organising different fundraising events. The charities included: ‘Make 2nds Count’, ‘Young Lives VS Cancer’, ‘Cancer Research’ and ‘Dougie Mac’.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself: I regularly go on track days, so Lewis Hamilton better watch out.
