Business Administration Apprentice

Reporting to the internal sales team leader, you will work in the diverse areas of order processing, finance and sales giving you a full flavour of the demands and challenges within these areas. By gaining interest and experience in these core functions, you will rapidly gain an insight into how a successful business operates and how your skills can be developed to drive your personal success and become an integral part of the business.

Your main duties will be but not limited to:

  • Administration duties
  • Creating customer quotes and orders
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers both on the phone and electronically
  • Solving problems and progressing customer orders by using various IT software packages
  • Be involved with various business functions
  • Confidence in using a variety of software would be advantageous and a high attention to detail is an absolute must

  • Good standard of education with GCSE grade C or above in maths and English or equivalents

Engineering Apprentice

HMK seek to recruit an enthusiastic and driven young person who has a passion for engineering, to work within their engineering technology team. HMK provide a wide range of industries with automation and robotic products and solutions for machines and production environments.

A constantly evolving business they need more electrical skilled staff to satisfy the demands of their customers.

The successful candidate must have plenty of drive and self-motivation and enjoy working within a team. The person must a passion for technology and a good eye for detail who has pride in their work.

You will be working on control projects including:

  • Electrical panel build
  • Electrical testing
  • Software testing
  • Electrical design
  • Test and design electrical/mechanical machines
  • Using robots during your development
