The HMK team were proud to celebrate the opening of Plant 3 at Neugart’s headquarters in Kippenheim, Germany - marking a major milestone for the world’s leading planetary gearbox manufacturer.
As Neugart’s partner for the UK and ROI for over 30 years, HMK was invited to a special event celebrating the new facility and bringing together partners for Neugart’s global sales meeting.
Representing HMK was our Managing Director Gary Kitchin and Sales Manager Ed Tate, who had the opportunity to visit the state-of-the-art facility for the first time and gain valuable insight into Neugart’s future direction.
With an investment of over €25 million and 7,000 square metres of additional manufacturing space, Plant 3 is a major expansion of Neugart’s production capabilities, enabling faster order processing, increased capacity, and a foundation for continued international growth.
Ed Tate said: “We were incredibly proud to attend such a fantastic event, and visiting Plant 3 for the first time truly showcased Neugart’s commitment to innovation and world-class manufacturing in planetary gearbox technology.

The event, which took place on July 10, brought together more than 100 guests from across Neugart’s global network, offering partners a first-hand look at the company’s latest developments in technology, automation, and production efficiency.
