HMK is shining a spotlight on Atlanta’s High Speed and High Force Screw Jacks - engineered for reliable performance and proven across multiple industries for over 15 years.
We have been the UK distribution partner for Atlanta for more than 25 years, and we’re pleased to supply the High Speed High Force Screw Jack range - delivering reliable, high-performance linear actuation.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, Atlanta's screw jacks are engineered for demanding applications where high force, speed and repeatability are essential. These innovative actuators are trusted and proven across multiple industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Machine Tools, Offshore and Outdoor.
The range offers a compelling alternative to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, delivering consistent high force, speed, and repeatability, without being affected by temperature changes or pressure fluctuations, and with the added benefit of energy saving.
Customisable options and complete actuator assemblies are also available to meet the exact needs of your application.
Whether you're lifting, lowering, tilting, feeding, or pressing, these actuators deliver high speed, high force, and long-term reliability.
Ed Tate, Business Development Manager at HMK, said: “Atlanta’s High Speed High Force Screw Jacks have a proven track record for delivering reliable, high-performance solutions across a wide range of industries.
“At HMK, our commitment goes beyond supplying these products, we work closely with our customers to engineer complete electromechanical motion solutions, all supported from a single source. This integrated approach ensures seamless project delivery, from initial concept through to commissioning.
“By making automation easier to implement, we help reduce development costs, shorten time to market, and minimise risk - delivering success for our customers and their customers alike.”
Compact, high-speed performance: The integrated Atlanta servo worm and high-speed gearbox reduce the size of the motor and brake, improves controllability by minimising inertia mismatch, and saves space by allowing a more compact layout (motors and gearboxes don't need to be in-line with the ball screw), while the integral thrust bearings support forces efficiently.
High force and long life: The precision ball screw offers excellent load capacity and efficiency, delivering long life and low maintenance, even in demanding, high-duty applications.
Lifting Cylinder: A fully enclosed and guided extending cylinder.
Rotating Nut (Travelling Screw): The nut is rotated by the gearbox, extending or retracting the ball screw. Switches and twisting protection can be integrated to simplify the design for OEMs.
Rotating Spindle (Screw): The simplest solution where the gearbox rotates the ball screw and the nut travels in both directions, attached to the load.
At HMK, we don’t just supply great products, we provide our engineering expertise to deliver success for our customers. Our engineering team works closely with our customers to select and integrate the right products into complete automation systems. Whatever the application, we’re here to support you from concept to commissioning.
