The shaft is connected to the hub by means of a feather key according to DIN 6885-1. The keyway can be optionally omitted and the shaft connected the the hub solely by means of set screws.

The cam ring is made of polyurethane with Shore hardness 92 ShA as standard (yellow cam ring).
