Available Pinion Styles

Helical Tooth

These pinions have the teeth at an angle (19º 31' 42") for increased load capacity and quiet operation.

Straight Tooth

These pinions have the teeth perpendicular to pinion side, and are traditionally known as "spur".

"S+L Individuell"

At these pinion are only the teeth hardened and ground. Processing on the bore and hub is additionally possible.

Pre-Load Pinion Shaft

These pinions have two pinion halves which are spring-loaded against each other to provide zero backlash.

Pinions with ground teeth and spline profile

These pinions have a spline profile according DIN 5480 for increased load capacity.

Pinions for interface acc. EN ISO 9409-1-A

These pinions were designed for mounting directly to ISO 9409-1 flanged reducers.
